Dual-Submissions
the little things allows authors to submit their piece to multiple places at once. However, we request that the author contacts us if their work will be published in a different publication. We will not publish a piece that is going in another publication.
If an author's piece is accepted by the little things and another publication, it will be up to the author to decide where they want the piece to be published.
Rights
Rights to the work revert back to the author upon publication. Therefore, after the issue is released, the author can decide what to do with that work in the future.
AI
the little things does not accept work written by AI.
The only permitted AI-use for submissions is a grammar/spell-check platform such as Grammarly.
All issues of the little things are their own works belonging to human beings. Therefore, we request that none of our work is uploaded to an AI generator/chat (DeepSeek, ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.).
