Calling all artists!

the little things holds a cover contest for each issue to showcase the themes of the magazine and the specific issue.

Submissions are open from February 7 to March 20, 2026, for Issue 2.

If you’re an artist of any type who does NOT use AI, we encourage you to submit to our cover contest for the little things literary magazine.

​

the little things is an online literary magazine highlighting the ups and downs of everyday life through poetry, fiction, nonfiction, and experimental work from diverse perspectives.

​

Requirements:

 

  • Follow the themes of the magazine (everyday life, simplicity, nature, love, friendship, grief)

  • 8” x 11”

  • .JPG or .JPEG file

  • No AI usage
